Traders shut video shops after threats
KALAYA: A number of video centres were closed in Dabori area after threats from the so-called Tehrik-e-Taliban on Sunday. Shopkeepers also removed signboards with female portraits after receiving the threats, as a number of leaflets were distributed in the bazaars the other day.
Meanwhile, political authorities have arrested 41 tribesmen and impounded their vehicles in a crackdown against three sub-tribes of Mula Khel. The elders of the tribe have been told the crackdown would continue until they handed over a criminal, Kamal, to the authorities.
