Three regional PTV channels soon: MD Arshad

KARACHI, September 18 2005: PTV MD Arshad Khan said that the PTV would launch three regional channels very soon, as the response of the Bolan Channel was very good.
During a Press briefing, he said that the PTV Multan Centre was also under construction.
He maintained that the PTV is turning in a profitable organisation. He said that the financial condition of the PTV was better than before and it did not need to beg from the government any more.
On the occasion, General Manager of Karachi Centre, Qasim Jilali said that fourteen months ago the PTV staff felt threatened that only a selected number of employees would be allowed to work in the centre and the facilities of the staff would also be reduced.
