Swat Press Club repaired
MINGORA: Swat district has been cleared from militants and there is no chance of their regrouping.
Peace is been restored completely and media has played an important role in the elimination of militants and in the restoration of peace in the region, stated Major Gen Ashfaq Nadeem while briefing media men at Swat Press Club after the Pak Army completed its renovation work in it.
Ashfaq Nadeem said that four journalists had sacrificed their lives for the restoration of peace and the journalist community faced many threats from the militants but they did not came under pressure and performed their duties with dedication. He further stated that the Pak Army was releasing those detained peoples who invited militants and met them by any means and did not participated in any terror activity only on the clearance of elders of the area.
Answering a question, Ashfaq said that those militants trying to enter from other parts of the country to Swat they were inviting their death by doing tills.
Later he visited several areas of the Press Club and announced that the Army would build a hail in the Press Club.
