ST protests over blasphemous acts
HYDERABAD: The activists of the Sunni Tehreek (ST) here on Tuesday took out a protest rally from the Hyder Chowk to the Hyderabad Press Club against the release of a blasphemous film in Holland and the republication of sacrilegious sketches in Danish newspapers.
The protestors were holding banners and placards and chanted slogans against the Danish government. They set ablaze the national flags of Denmark and Holland. Khalid Qadri, Khalid Hassan Attari, Amin Qadri and others led the protest rally and announced the head money of Rs 10 million for the Dutch parliamentarian who had released the blasphemous film.
The ST leaders said that a conspiracy was being hatched against the Muslims across the world and criticised the silence of the OIC, demanding the new premier of the country to suspend diplomatic ties with Denmark and Holland.
