Seven committees dissolved under 18th Amend
ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Monday has dissolved seven standing committees of the National Assembly of different subjects under the 18th Amendment.
The Cabinet Division notified the dissolution of seven standing committees, namely Environment, Food & Agriculture, Minority Affairs, Labour & Manpower, Women Development, Health and Sports, which are now devolved subjects. The committees have been dissolved in line with the constitutional requirements, which envisaged the delegation of these ministries and their functions to the provinces under the landmark amendment in the constitution.
