Senate proceedings: Rabbani takes notice of PTV’s coverage
ISLAMABAD: Leader of the House in the Senate Mian Raza Rabbani on Monday took notice for not giving due coverage to the proceedings of the Upper House by the Pakistan Television (PTV).
Rabbani told the House that leader of the opposition had pointed out that the PTV was not giving proper coverage to the proceedings of the Upper House of parliament. “There was not even mention of the Senate session in the PTV’s Kabaranama on Sunday. It is the right of the House and I will not tolerate if the proceedings are not covered properly,” he said.
Later on the request of Raza Rabbani, Chairman Senate Mohammedmian Soomro said the Senate Secretariat would take notice of the matter and inform the concerned ministry in this regard.
