Schoolteacher shot dead as Kari
KHAIRPUR: A man killed his sister after suspecting her to be a Kari here on Sunday. Primary schoolteacher Sajida Khatoon, wife of Dr Nazir Ahmed, was shot dead by her brother, Najamuddin Sarki, in Baloch Colony of Thull Taluka.
The police registered a case against the alleged killer and were conducting raids for his arrest. The husband of the deceased woman, dismissing the charge that his wife was a Kari, demanded immediate arrest of the killer.
