Role of media vital in present scenario: Ibad
KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan has said that the media’s role has become more vital in the present scenario and it should be extended all out cooperation.
Speaking at the launch ceremony of Evernew Studios in Korangi Industrial Area, the governor said that the media should be supported for its positive role in the society. He added that the media has played an important role in bringing a positive change in the mindset of common people.
According to Ibad, no body could deny the importance of entertainment by the media while urging the media houses to utilise this section for the betterment of masses. Ibad also emphasised the need for setting up of more production houses in Karachi and assured that the government will offer its full support, including the city district government. A large number of film and TV artists, media men and notables attended the ceremony.
