Rashid donates Rs 0.6m to press club
DARRA, July 13 2005: Federal information minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad provided computer and fax machine to Darra press club through MNA Dr Nasim Afridi.
He also approved donation of Rs0.6 million for the project. Dr Nasim Afridi and Senator Hameedullah Jan Afridi, while appreciating the minister said it would not only promote healthy journalism in the comparatively backward tribal areas but also help in highlighting the problems of the local people.
Sheikh Rashid in his message further assured tribal journalists that government would provide them protection and support.
