Radio Pakistan starts special transmission on Karachi situation

Lahore: Radio Pakistan has started special broadcasts to meet challenges rising from incidents of violence in Karachi, according to a press release issued on Friday.

Radio Pakistan has set up a line to help people reach relief and law enforcement agencies, according to the press release issued by PBC. In case of an emergency, people can dial the numbers 021-99232096 and 021-99230464 for assistance. The helpline will make it easier for people to communicate their difficulties to the concerned departments.

Radio Pakistan has also changed the setup of the programmes on the networks belonging to the FM-93 and FM-101 stations. Radio Pakistan is airing special promos of peace and harmony as well as national songs and poetry to spread a message of solidarity and brotherhood.
