Punjab govt maltreating journalists: PML-Q
LAHORE: PML-Q Information Secretary Muhammad Akram Chaudhry has said the Punjab government was treating journalists raising voice of civil society like terrorists, which is a condemnable act.
He demanded the provincial government immediately release arrested journalists and quash cases against them. He was addressing a meeting of information secretaries of the party from Kasur, Mianwali, Jhelum and Sheikhupura. He claimed that the journalists were struggling to strengthen democracy and for stability of the country.
