PTA to recover dues come what may: chairman

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA) has decided to launch a massive recovery campaign in the history of the telecom sector.
The PTA sources told this scribe that due to the repeated government’s intervention, the private telecom companies had not paid over Rs15 billion to the PTA since last many years. The licenses of the five private companies were also suspended in this regard. When contacted Chairman PTA Dr Muhammad Yasin expressed determination that the said dues would be recovered at any cost and no pressure would be taken in this connection.
