Press Foundation will continue the welfare of journalists under Act Rules, Liaqat Hussain
Chairman Press Foundation Justice Sardar Liaqat Hussain has said that the Foundation will continue the welfare of journalists under the Act Rules. A committee has been formed to ensure the elections of Mirpor, Haveli, and Samahni Press Club, Press Foundation. All the matters related to this will be decided through the Vice Chairman Press Foundation, the Foundation should increase its grant and work for other sources of income. He expressed these views in a meeting held in Palandri.
In the meeting, Vice Chairman Press Foundation Syed Abrar Haider, a Member of the Governing Body Sardar Ijaz Khaliq, and others participated.
Chairman Press Foundation said that the privileges of journalists of Azad Kashmir have been increased several times to solve their problems, but more welfare actions are needed. Discussions will be held with the government, state institutions, and other institutions to increase the income of the Press Foundation.
He further said that the Foundation is being run according to the Acts Rules and the same will be done in the future.
A committee was formed under the chairmanship of the Vice Chairman Press Foundation, whose members will be Sardar Ijaz Khaliq, Khalid Chaudhry, and Zahid Tabassim. No committee should be formed apart from the Vice Chairman and members of the governing body, he said.
Vice Chairman and members of the governing body of the three press clubs make sure the election. Vice Chairman Press Foundation Syed Abrar Haider while appreciating the deep love of the Chairman Press Foundation Mr. Justice Sardar Liaquat Hussain for his efforts to solve their problems, said that the efforts of the chairman made the Foundation dynamic and the Foundation became a welfare organization in true sense whose journalists are grateful to the Chairman Press Foundation.
Member Governing Body Sardar Ijaz Khaliq drew the attention of the Chairman Press Foundation to the members participating in the elections and the elections of the Press Clubs. After which the Chairman issued orders. Sardar Ejaz Khaliq thanked the Chairman for holding the meeting.
