Police official behind crime
The staff of Superintendent of New Karachi Town held a police officer of Sir Syed Investigation along with two dacoits who is the ring leader of the gang and provided arms and official motorcycle to the dacoits for the theft. The suspects were also involved in murder cases which they committed on the pointation of the police officer, the source said.
Sources said that the staff of SP New Karachi Town during routine patrolling held two dacoits from the limits of Khwaja Ajmir Nagri and took them to the headquarters for investigation. During the course of investigation they disclosed that their gang leader is an officer of Sir Syed Investigation and all the murders and dacoities which they had committed were on the orders of the concerned officer. They disclosed that the police officer a month ago took them from New Karachi in a taxi to Surjani Town area and directed them to kill a person with whom he had some dispute and they shot him dead and fled.
It was stated that for every minimum Rs0.1 million dacoity the police officer provided them Rs5,000. The SP New Karachi Town Javed Baloch ordered his staff to conduct a raid at the Sir Syed Investigation and held the officer who was under interrogation. The sources added that most of the dacoities during the past few months in district central were carried out on a white motorcycle.
