Police directed to arrest Sangi’s killers

LARKANA, June 01 2006: A meeting of senior police officers of the town on May 31 concentrated on the arrest of the culprits involved in an armed clash between the men of Unnar and Abro tribes that claimed three lives, including that of a press photographer, Munir Sangi.

DIG Police Larkana Range Akhtar Hassan Gorchani was in the chair. He directed the police officers to arrest the killers of Munir Sangi as soon as possible. The meeting was attended by DPO Irfan Ali Baloch, SP (Investigation) Abdul Karim Khoso, DSP Saddar Yousuf Rind, DSP (Investigation) Jurial Khokhar and an officer of the Rangers.

The DIG police asked the officers to leave no stone unturned in arresting the accused nominated in the case of Munir’s murder. He also directed to arrest the absconders wanted in various cases and to recover illicit weapons from their respective jurisdictions or they would be dealt with for negligence.
