PM reshuffles ministers’ portfolios
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Monday marginally reshuffled the portfolios of federal ministers belonging to PML-Q and MQM.
According to the notification issued by the cabinet division, Chaudhry Wajhaat Hussain has been re-allocated the portfolio of Minister of Labour and Manpower and Sheikh Waqas Akram is now the Minister of State for Labour and Manpower.
Chaudhry Wajhaat Hussain earlier held the portfolio of Minister for Overseas Pakistani, which has now been been allocated to Dr Farooq Sattar. Dr Nadeem Ihsan has been allocated the portfolio of Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis while Babar Ghauri is now the Minister for Shipping and Ports.
APP adds: Dr Asim, Adviser to Prime Minister on Petroleum and Natural Resources, is likely to take oath as Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources on Tuesday. President Asif Ali Zardari will administer the oath to him.
