Plots: Governments to fulfill commitment to newsmen
KARACHI- The Sindh cabinet has in principle agreed that the government’s commitment made to the members of the Karachi Press Club with regard to the allotment of plots in the Hawkesbay scheme be fulfilled.
According to an official, Governor Mohammadmian Soomro while addressing the cabinet meeting, directed the concerned officials that a working paper in this respect be prepared at the earliest so that the provincial government could provide these plots to the journalists on the agreed terms.
He has also directed the cabinet members to visit the Karachi Press Club along with the Secretary for Housing and Town Planning to discuss and resolve the matter pertaining to the allotment of residential plots to the journalists on the agreed terms and conditions.
