PFCB chief calls for revival of film industry
Islamabad: Pakistan Film Censor Board (PFCB) Chairman Shah Nawaz Noon on Sunday urged people related to the film industry to play their role for the revival of the industry.
Talking to media here, he said that Prime Minster Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani was taking special interest to resolve the problems of the industry while Culture Minister Syed Aftab Hussain Shah Jilani was also making his efforts for the revival of the industry.
Shah Nawaz Noon said that the industry should make films on the problems of the people not on the names of robbers or dacoits. He said that only quality films bring back the people to the cinemas.
The PFCB chairman said that Pakistan has lots of talent and our actors were showing their abilities in India but not here because of lack of quality material.
