PESHAWAR – A powerful bomb explosion damaged a shop of electronic goods while a rocket hit a police check-post in another incident here Wednesday.
Police sources said that a powerful bomb went off in the wee hours of Wednesday outside an electronic goods shop, located in Pandu Chowk, reducing a number of TVs, VCRs, radios and CD drives to ashes.
Meanwhile, in another incident a rocket hit a police check-post in the area of Yakka Toot Police Station again in the wee hours. No casualty was reported.
, as no police official was there at that time. Police registered FIR of both the incidents and started investigations.
