Pakistan to attend World Media Summit in Beijing
BEIJING: Pakistan will attend the three-day World Media Summit, being held in Beijing from Thursday (October 8).
The summit will bring together personalities from newspapers, magazines, wire services, radio and television broadcasters as well as the Internet from across the globe. Pakistan will be represented at the media summit by Managing Director, Associated Press of Pakistan, Mohammad Riaz.
The summit will focus on how the world media will face challenges and opportunities of the digital era and cash in on the network technologies. More than 130 overseas and over 40 domestic media organisations have registered for participation in the World Media Summit, according to the organisers.
