Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) takes steps to improve its services
ISLAMABAD- Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has taken appropriate steps not only to further improve its customer services, but also to revolutionise its network.
A spokesman said that special inspection teams had been set up to monitor operational and maintenance measures.
As far as old exchanges were concerned, PTCL had attained 86 per cent digitalisation, he said, adding that replacement of old underground cables was also going on in a phased manner, with continued endeavour to provide, better services under all circumstances.
The company had chalked out a comprehensive strategy to eliminate procedural delays in providing new/shifting of telephone connections, the spokesman said.
The PTCL’s commitment to provide better customer services might be gauged from the fact that the billing system had been stream lined, he added.
