Pakistan Press Foundation calls for applications for the PPF Media Safety Fellowships
The deadline for submission of applications is February 26, 2023
Pakistan Press Foundation (PPF) invites applications for the PPF Media Safety Fellowships. The fellowship programme aims to promote freedom of expression by supporting media professionals to produce stories about media safety and impunity.
The fellowships will include the following:
- An honorarium of up to sixty thousand rupees.
- Participation in two capacity-building workshops.
- Editorial and technical support.
Selected participants will work under the supervision of a senior journalist who will act as project editor during the fellowship term. During the fellowship programme, each fellow will be expected to produce six stories for publication or broadcast in national media organisations.
Preference will be given to fellows who will commit to investigating impunity for specific cases of journalists killed or injured.
Journalists with experience of at least three years and a commitment to promoting the safety of journalists are encouraged to apply.
The criteria for journalists from Balochistan, former FATA districts, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, and female journalists may be relaxed for otherwise qualified applicants.

The deadline for submitting applications is February 26, 2023. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
