Pakistan Medical Association Karachi issues public licence to Geo Super
KARACHI: Office-holders of the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Karachi on Sunday signed the public licence to Geo Super for telecasting its transmission from Pakistan.
Those who signed the public licence included PMA Karachi president Prof Idrees Edhi, Dr Samrina Hashmi, Dr Mirza Ali Azhar, Dr Aziz Khan, Dr Qazi Muhammad Wasiq, Dr Shafiqur Rehman, Dr Wajahat Shahab Malik and Dr Hamid Manzoor.
Speaking on the occasion, they said Geo Super was the only sports channel in the country and was promoting sports activities among the youth. They said the closure of Geo Super had disappointed the youth and they were now deprived of watching sports competitions. They said sports played a very important role in building of a health society. They demanded immediate restoration of the Geo Super transmission.
