Pak-Turkey IT cooperation urged
ISLAMABAD- Federal Minister for Information Technology (IT) & Telecommunications Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari has said there is a great room for cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey in various fields of IT and telecoms. And the two countries should benefit from each other’s experience and start some joint projects for mutual benefit. He was talking to Turkish Ambassador in Pakistan Kamal Gur, who called on him at his office here on December 11, 2002.
Awais Leghari said there was a lot of room for development in IT and telecoms sector in Pakistan. With deregulation process, he said, Pakistan’s economy was opening up and more opportunities for foreign and local investments were being created.
