No Concept Of Karo Kari In Islam
HYDERABAD, October 19 (PPI): President of Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith Sindh Amir Abdullah Farooqui has said the increasing incidents of killing innocent people in name of Kari Kari were the worst kind of lawlessness which should be controlled to save the society going back to barbarian age. In a statement issued here Thursday Amir Farooqui said such out dated customs has no link with Islam.
He said the murder under pretext of Karo Kari was scar on face of humanity. He said feudal lords have made women and children as their slaves and have occupied government building of schools and offices and have turned them into their Otaqs. He said it was high time for authorities to think that in presence of judiciary the feudal lords have set up parallel judicial system in name of Jirga and they were holding Jirgas despite ban by High Court.
He criticized the threat of MMA to resign from assemblies on Protection of Women Bill and said it was nothing except to save their falling image. He said that MMA wants to sacrifice national interests over their vested interests. He advised them to first resign from provincial governments. He asked nation to get united to defeat sectarianism and extremism.
