Nazim assures enhanced transport facilities
During a surprise visit to New Karachi on Monday, the Nazim, Karachi, Syed Mustafa Kamal, met local people at Allahwali-the last stop of W-11 wagon where he heard their problems and said that issuance of a new route for the residents of Ahsanabad and Gulshan-e-Maymar would be finalised within a week after which all those living in these areas would get better transport facilities.
The Nazim also met a delegation of transporters led by route operator Muhammad Sabir.
The delegation apprised the Nazim of the transport problems being faced by the residents of Ahsanabad and Gulshan-e-Maymar on which the Nazim assured them all possible cooperation for issuance of new route for these areas and said that city government would solve whatever problems were being faced by the transporters and they would also provided with every kind of protection.
The transporters also assured the City Nazim that the new transport service between Ahsanabad and Gulshan-e-Maymar would begin in a week. The City Nazim also inaugurated a free medical camp in Sector 11-F North Karachi and talked to the workers and patients in the camp.
