NA Speakers urges media’s active role in highlighting importance of Constitution
Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf says the leadership of all political parties, including the PTI, will be invited to the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Constitution.
He was talking to delegations of Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors, All Pakistan Newspaper Society and Pakistan Broadcasters Association at Parliament House in Islamabad on Friday.
The Speaker also briefed the participants about the various activities and events being organized in connection with the Golden Jubilee celebrations at the Parliament House.
He emphasized the need for media’s active role in highlighting the real importance of the Constitution.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb was also present on this occasion.
She informed the participants about the joint session of the Parliament on Monday and the construction of the constitutional monument.
