Media manipulated

peshawar: This is in reference to Wajahat S Khan’s article “The manipulation of our media” (April 29). Will this country’s dragging economy continue to force the media to intensify its ‘tabloid’ style of coverage as the fight for advertising revenue and ratings become the final arbiter of survival? Is the media focusing on why the economy is failing and putting pressure on the government to do something about it?
