Man, woman killed for ‘honour’
SUKKUR, March 30: A man and a woman were shot dead on suspicion of having illicit relations in Ali Bukhsh Jakhrani village of Jacobabad district on Saturday.
According to sources, Nawab Ali aka Takri, son of Mian Bukhsh Jakhrani, was working in a field when suspects, identified by the bereaved family as Kaishoo Khan Jakhrani and Fayaz aka Fayzoo Jakhrani, shot him dead.
Later, the suspects went to the house of their cousin, Mohammad Murad Jakhrani, and killed his wife, Lalan Khatoon, sources said.
Area police shifted both the bodies to the Jacobabad Civil Hospital and after a post-mortem examination handed them over to the heirs.
