Man kills wife over Karo-Kari

SUKKUR: A man stabbed to death his wife in his house in Obaro on Monday, alleging she was maintaining illicit relations with someone. Police said Maroof Sheikh stabbed his newly-wed wife Sartaj Bibi on the suspicion that she was having illicit relations.

The stab wounds proved fatal and Sartaj Bibi died on the spot. Police shifted the body to a local hospital but the accused managed to escape from the place.
