Man kills daughter, youth over Karo-Kari
KHAIRPUR: A man axed his daughter and a youth to death on the pretext of Karo-Kari on Monday and later surrendered to police. According to reports Hyder Ali Shar of village Sikandar Shar of Thari Mirwah town, Khairpur axed his daughter Fahmida and her alleged paramour Anwar Ali, son of Mast Ali, to death. Hyder Ali later went to Thari Mirwah police station and confessed his crime, saying that he could not control his anger when he witnessed his daughter and the youth in objectionable condition. The reports also said that the deceased youth was an employee of Army police and had come to the village on leave. He had visited Hyder Ali along with his parents and had asked his daughter’s had for marriage, which request was declined.
