Local APNS greets Irfan Siddiqui
ISLAMABAD: Publishers of newspapers and periodicals of the twin-cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad have congratulated Prof Irfan Siddiqui, a prominent columnist, on his appointment as Special Assistant to the prime minister as well as his assuming chief coordinator of the four-member committee for entering into dialogue with the Taliban.
In a meeting of the federal capital committee of All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) presided over by its Chairman Zahid Malik, Editor-in-Chief Pakistan Observer, unanimously passed a resolution on this initiative describing Professor Siddiqui’s elevation as much deserved and a welcome step.
