LHC moved against lack of coverage to Nisar on state-run TV
LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has been moved against the act of not giving any coverage on the state-run TV to Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
Waqar Ahmad Chaudhry in a petition has adopted the stance that the state-run TV is not giving any coverage to the opposition leader, which is against the basic constitutional rights, and also shows partiality on the part of a government institution.
The petitioner prayed to the court to take notice of the matter and order the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and MD of the state-run TV to show impartiality and give equal coverage to the opposition on the state media.
