Level playing field for women workers demanded
HYDERABAD: Participants of a consultation meeting on Saturday emphasised the need for economic empowerment of women and demanded a level playing field for the women workers of the country.
The meeting was organised by the Inter-press Communication (IPC) to highlight its project “Media Support to Women Empowerment”, being run in collaboration with the Canadian International Development Agency.
IPC President Sheen Farrukh, Vice-President Rehana Iftikhar and others urged the media organisations to highlight the problems of the workwomen.
