LBA calls off strike
LAHORE: The Lahore Bar Association (LBA) on Thursday called off its strike against poor security arrangements at courts.
A decision to the effect was taken at a general house meeting of the bar keeping in view sufferings of the litigants.
The bar leaders also expressed their satisfaction over security measures taken by the police, however, they announced resuming the strike if the steps were withdrawn. The bar had been observing a strike since two accused brothers were killed at the district and sessions court on May 28.
