LAHORE: Cinemas across the country will remain closed for three days to mourn the death of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairwoman Benazir Bhutto.
Pakistan Film Exhibitor’s Association (PFEA) chairman Jahanzaib Baig told Daily Times that Bhutto’s death was a tragic incident and the PFEA strongly condemned it. He urged the people to stand united and foil the conspiracies of anti-Pakistan elements that wanted to destabilise the country. He requested people not to indulge in violence.
