Lady doctor seeks chief justice’s help
LAHORE, Aug 02 2006: A lady doctor Shaheen Gulrez of Lahore has made an appeal to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo motu notice of injustices she had to face due to what she claimed fake cases got registered against her by some bar members. Addressing a press conference here on Aug 01, Shaheen said that her relatives, who are members of the bar, are misusing the bar platform by registering fake cases against her.
Despite being a woman she said she had courageously struggled against them but now they are harassing and threatening her of dire consequences. She apprehended that they would occupy her house in connivance with the local police. She, therefore, prayed to the Chief Justice Pakistan to take suo motu action on her case immediately.
