‘Khuda ke liye’ being released in Indonesia
ISLAMABAD (November 01, 2010) : Legendary Pakistani film, television producer, writer and poet, Shoaib Mansoor’s 2007 block buster Khuda Ke Liye (In the name of God) is being released in six leading cinemas in Jakarta, Indonesia from 4th of November. The Embassy of Pakistan, Jakarta has arranged a special show for the Pakistani community, diplomats and Indonesian guests on November 02 at 6.30 P.M at Pusat Perfilman (Film Centre) H .Usmar Ismail, Rasuna Said.
According to a press release, the movie with lead stars like Iman Ali and Shan explains how Islam is misinterpreted by people with vested interests to suit their own evil agenda. The movie endeavours to remove the misconceptions about Islam and Muslims created by untoward propaganda.
“Khuda Ke Liye” (In the name of God) hit silver screens world wide in 2007. It has bagged a number of awards and won acclaim from both the critics and the viewers. The producer Mr. Soaib Mansoor is now ready to launch “Bol”, his second venture for the film theatres which deals with women issues.
