Judicial probe into journalist’s murder
KARACHI, June 18 2006: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on June 18 announced that a judicial inquiry would be conducted into the killing of journalist Hayatullah Khan and a compensation of Rs500, OOO would be paid to the bereaved family. “We have taken the decision for holding of judicial inquiry last evening,” the prime minister said while addressing the concluding session of a three-day South Asian Electronic Media Workshop. He announced that the government would bear Education expenses of the children of the late Hayatullah.-APP
