Journalists, lawyers join hands to Protest curbs
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Journalists and lawyers fraternity of the district held a strong protest against imposition of emergency and closure of private TV channels. The journalists lodged their protest by fastening chains and locks on their mouths.
Addressing a protest camp of journalists in front of DI Khan Press Club, Ahmad Khan Kamrani, president of the club said shutting down of TV channels is a proof of ‘ruler’s frightful state of mind’.
President of District Bar Hashmat Nawaz vowed to continue their agitation and struggle against military junta till its ouster from Power. Participants of the Protest chanted anti-government slogans on the Occasion.
