Journalists launch union
MIRPURKHAS (APP)-A meeting of local journalists held here on Saturday decided to form an organisation, which could work for their betterment.
It was suggested to name the organisation as Mirpurkhas Union of journalists (MUJ).
The meeting presided by senior journalist Saleem Azad was attended by a number of journalists including Dost All Bhatti, Shaikh Ashique Ali, Saeed Ahmed .Qaim Khani, M. Hashim Shar, ,Qamaruddin, Afaq Ahmed, Barkat Qureshi, M. Raza Khan -Ghulam Rasool , Manak Leghari, Abdul Ghafoor Thebo, Najeebur Rehman Sambhri, etc.
The meeting selected and inducted the following as office–bearers of Muj for year 2003-04: Afaq Ahmed as president,Najeebur “RehmanSambhnasVlce-President-11 Sher Malkani as Vice-President-II, Ghulam Rasool Mugheri as General Secretary, Shahid lqbal as joint Secretary, Hashim Shar as Deputy joint Secretary, Barqat Qureshi as treasurer and Manak Leghari as Rabita Secretary.
