Journalists injured in suicide bombing get Rs 50,000 each

PESHAWAR: Two journalists who sustained injuries due to suicide bombing on April 28 in Charsadda received cheques of Rs 50,000 each here on Tuesday.

Muhammad Ayaz, the chief reporter of the APP Peshawar, and Arshad Babar, a photographer of the Press and Information Department (PID), sustained injuries in the suicide bombing when they were performing their official duties at a public meeting addressed by Minister for Interior Aftab Ahmad Sherpao on April 28 in Charsadda.
