Journalists demand release of colleagues
NAWABSHAH: The journalists here on Tuesday strongly condemned Hyderabad police for resorting to baton charge and arrest their colleagues while protesting against the suspension of private news channels and for freedom of the media.
The senior journalists including Ismail Domki, Akhtar Rind, Zulfiquar Memon, Arshad Nasim, Atif Zaidi, Musharraf Bhatti, Zulfiquar Khaskheli, Amir Chandio, Nasir Rashid Khanzada, Kashif, Zia and others slammed the police action against media persons. They also demanded immediate release of arrested journalists. They also demanded withdrawal of a fake case lodged against Ramzan Chandio.
