LARKANA – A local journalist seriously injured in retaliation when he resisted saving his motorbike from a criminal snatcher late night on Friday. The Larkana journalists enraged on law and order situation in the district and they held a meeting wherein they demanded the life of Naveed Larik reporter of a local newspaper and to arrest the snatcher.

According to detail Naveed Larik along with younger brother when they were on way back to their home, a criminal looted money and tried to snatch motorbike, in a retaliation he received a bullet of pistol and fell down, unidentified shooter on the occasion escaped. Journalist Naveed Larik shifted to Chandka Medical College (CMC) Hospital Surgery II in a critical condition.

The journalists Ali Gul Sangi, Syed Javed Shah, Nazir Siyal, Qalander Bux, Abdul Fatah, Ghulam Sarwer Gadhi, Manzoor Ali, Riaz Mirani, Sabir Ali, Abdul Hamid, Majeed Gaad and others demanded of arrest of criminal immediately and protect newsmen all over otherwise the journalists community will go on strike.
