Journalist faces criticism for arranging TV interviews
LANDIKOTAL: A local journalist was criticised by the local administration on Thursday for assisting Aaj TV anchor Talat HussainÂ’s visit to Landikotal.
Journalists in Landikotal met at the press club to condemn Assistant Political Agent (APA) Ghulam Habib Khan’s misbehaviour with Takbeer Khan for helping with Hussain’s visit. Hussain had arrived in Torkham to interview transporters and other people on the security situation in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
“The APA says I have defamed the Shinwari tribe by arranging the interviews,” Takbeer Khan told Daily Times.
