Journalism teachers’ services to be eulogized
KARACHI: The services of two former teachers of Karachi University’s Department of Mass Communication – Prof Shariful Mujahid and Prof Zakariya Sajid, will be euologised. For the purpose, a ceremony would be organised by the Karachi University Journalism Alumni Association (KUJA) at the Arts Council here on November 17 at five pm.
The Vice-Chancellor of Karachi University, Prof Dr Muhammad Qaiser, will preside over it. A former federal minister Javed Jabbar will be the chief guest on the occasion. Prof Dr Nisar Ahmed Zuberi, Prof Dr Tahir Masood, Inam Bari, Syed Ibadullah Rashdi, will be the speakers. The membership of the KUJA will also be offered to the old students of the Department of Journalism, University of Karachi, it was further stated.
