Issuance of FM radio license to Gomal University
D. I. KHAN – Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has agreed on principal to issue FM Radio license to Gomal University Dera Ismail Khan.
The sources disclosed that FM radio would be installed at Gomal University under the administrative and management control of Journalism and Mass Communication department.
The vice chancellor Wazirzada Muhammad Idrees Khan has completed all the required conditions in this regard and it is hoped that FM radio will start functioning at university in near future.
The sources further said that city campus of the university was selected for the installation of FM radio to cover maximum urban population and educational institutions in the area.
