ISLAMABAD- The nascent radio industry is suffering huge financial losses due to the oblivious and apathetic behaviour of PEMRA officials, said chairman Association of Independent Radio Broadcasters at a meeting held here on Wednesday.
The chairman said that two radio stations Power 99 FM and Mast FM 103 are closed since November 3 and are on the verge of disaster, as they had no resources to sustain their infrastructure and staff beyond a period of one month.
He demanded of the government to immediately make arrangements for return broadcast equipment resume their transmission.
