Islamabad-Paintings of K.B Abro and Nahid Raza was put on display here at Nomad Art Gallery on Sunday on the theme of “ stop violence against women”.

The paintings of K.B Abro basically comprised digital art and looked like original paintings. K.B Abro used a totally different medium displayed in the gallery, digital art. The artist was of the view that, “I try to explain the gender difference, beauty of women when she feels totally free from all hardships of life, and abuse with children especially female”. In the thoughts of visitors he was very successful in his effort. He uses very balance colour composition that beautifully demonstrates the effects.

He was born in the year of 1957, did bachelors in the subject of Design from National College of Arts (NCA) Lahore in the year 1987. He has participated in many solo exhibitions and awarded on his work. He is brilliant artist of this area who has extraordinarily creative skills; through his work he effectively communicates his feelings.

Some other art works of Nahid Raza were also displayed in the exhibition. Her paintings were a combination of great technique and style. She uses paint colours in her work. She also tried to define the theme “ stop violence against women” and she was very successful in describing the topic.
Nahid Raza was born in the year of 1947 and did a diploma in Fine Arts from central Institute of Arts and Crafts in 1970. She did her graduation from University of Karachi in the year 1970. She was appointed principal of central Institute of Arts and Crafts in 2003.

She did ten solo shows abroad and 30 in the country and was awarded four times. She also took part in seven group shows abroad and 24 in Pakistan. She was also three times visiting artist.
