Internet cafe blown up in Peshawar
PESHAWAR – An Internet cafe was blown up on Sunday when some explosive material went off damaging the building and injuring its owner, police said.
‘The incident occurred at around 3pm when the explosive material planted by unknown militants went off at the Internet cafe situated at Ishrat Cinema Road in Gulbahar area,” a police official informed The Nation.
According to eyewitnesses, the blast was not so intensive; however, it caused damage to the Internet cafe and injured the owner of the café.
The police have registered a case and started investigation, however, no person or group has so far accepted responsibility of the incident.
